Some boards will let you disable secure boot with out disabling UEFI, some of them you have to disable UEFI. If you don't know what secure boot is, basically it's a new standard in system BIOS usually associated with UEFI. Once you have this downloaded, there are a few steps you'll have to take in order to get the driver to install properly.įIRST: If you have secure boot enabled on your system, you have to disable it. Meaning if you're running a 32bit OS get the Vista 32bit beta driver, if you're running a 64bit OS, get the XP 64bit beta driver. I don't know if this procedure will work for the rest of you but this is what I did.įirst, get the latest version of the driver for your architecture. I got my EMS USB2 working in Windows 10 64 bit.
